DEEP Manufacturing operates 20 Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) systems at our Advanced Manufacturing Centre of Excellence in Avonmouth, Bristol - one of the world's largest concentrations of this technology.
What we do
Through a significant investment in technology, people, and processes, we’re able to produce large-scale metal component parts at unprecedented speed. Our manufacturing operations and outputs are independently verified, and our approach delivers lower life-of-project costs compared to traditional manufacturing processes.
Our Journey
It all started when DEEP, the ocean engineering company, set out to build subsea human habitats. It found traditional manufacturing processes fell short on total cost, lead times, and material waste. DEEP Manufacturing was launched to initially produce underwater pressure vessels for human occupancy. Now we offer our capacity and capability in large metal part production to other customers in any industry, anywhere in the world.

He brings a track record of driving business growth, with a strong background in strategy, innovation, and sales effectiveness.
With over 20 years of experience across Construction, Commercial Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Manufacturing, Louise brings a unique multidisciplinary perspective to DEEP Manufacturing. With her ability to align strategic vision with operational execution, Louise is a key force in delivering our advanced manufacturing roadmap and shaping the future of industrialising metal additive production.
Harry leads the engineering strategy and technical delivery of our advanced additive manufacturing solutions. With deep expertise in structural design, integrity assurance, and complex fabrication methods, Harry plays a central role in developing and certifying mission-critical components produced through large-scale metal additive processes.
